    The Mt. Shasta Iris Gardens at Mt. Shasta Country Home, 504 Redwood Rd. will be open for visitors' viewing pleasure from 11am-6pm. There are over 400 varieties and it is really quite spectacular to see them all in bloom. (530) 926-4304 for more info.
  • June 16th, Saturday — Mt. Shasta/Klamath River
    The River Dancers presents the 5th annual rafting & kayaking trip benefiting the Breast Cancer Fund. Cost is $88 per adult, $78 per child. Call (530) 926-3517 for info.

    The Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra "Tribute To The Trees" concert is being held at the Dunsmuir Botanical Garden, 4841 Dunsmuir Ave. The concert is preceded by a gourmet dinner among the trees.   • July 4th-7th, Wednesday-Saturday — Mt. Shasta
    Our annual 4th of July Celebration is here again!. Festivities begin on July 4th with the five mile run or the two mile walk at 8:30 am. A parade at noon, complete with a grand marshal, will wind north on Mt. Shasta Blvd. Vender booths will be open on the 4th on Castle Street. At dusk fireworks will be over Lake Siskiyou. Thursday thru Saturday Mt. Shasta Blvd will be closed from Alma St. to Chestnut St. for vendor booths. Live music on our stage, good food and tons of fun!!
