- June 1st-17th, Friday-Sunday — Mt. Shasta
The Mt. Shasta Iris Gardens at Mt. Shasta Country Home, 504 Redwood Rd.
will be open for visitors' viewing pleasure from 11am-6pm. There are
over 400 varieties and it is really quite spectacular to see them all

- June 16th, Saturday — Mt. Shasta/Klamath River
The River Dancers presents the 5th annual rafting & kayaking trip
benefiting the Breast Cancer Fund. Cost is $88 per adult, $78 per

- June 15th - July 22nd (Daily) — Weed
Mt. Shasta Lavender Farm is now open daily from 9 am to 4 pm. Pick your
own lavender, $3 for 100 stems. Take home an armful of lavender and

- June 16th, Saturday — Dunsmuir
The Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra "Tribute To The Trees" concert is being
held at the Dunsmuir Botanical Garden, 4841 Dunsmuir Ave. The concert
is preceded by a gourmet dinner among the trees. Tickets are $40 for
dinner and concert, or $20 for the concert only. They can be purchased

- June 20th, Wednesday — Mt. Shasta
The enormously talented musician Cliff Eberhardt returns to the Stage
Door, 414 N. Mt. Shasta Blvd. Cliff is a highly intelligent and
articulate artist whose penetrating and profound lyrics are sometimes
overshadowed by his extraordinary guitar playing. Show starts at 7:30

featuring six gardens. $10 donation to benefit the Mt. Shasta Library.

The Alpine Community Marketplace will be celebrating its grand opening
starting at 10 am until 3 pm. The seasonal open-air market will feature
Mt. Shasta artisans, culture and talent and is located at 1000 S. Mt.
Shasta Blvd. (across from Seven Suns Cafˇ). For vender applications or

- June 30th, Saturday — Mt. Shasta
Little Brian and the Zydeco Travelers will be appearing at the Stage
Door Cabaret, 414 N. Mt. Shasta Blvd. at 7:30 pm. Brilliantly drawing
upon contemporary urban black sounds while remaining true to their
Zydeco roots they have created an incredibly exciting modern form of

- June 30th, Saturday — Dunsmuir
The Brown Trout Gallery, 5841 Sacramento Ave. will be presenting the
vocal, keyboarding and songwriting talents of Al Sosa. Come and enjoy
music of the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. There is no cover charge but

- July 4th-7th, Wednesday-Saturday — Mt. Shasta
Our annual 4th of July Celebration is here again!. Festivities begin on
July 4th with the five mile run or the two mile walk at 8:30 am. A
parade at noon, complete with a grand marshal, will wind north on Mt.
Shasta Blvd. Vender booths will be open on the 4th on Castle Street. At
dusk fireworks will be over Lake Siskiyou. Thursday thru Saturday Mt.
Shasta Blvd will be closed from Alma St. to Chestnut St. for vendor
booths. Live music on our stage, good food and tons of fun!!
